Bonjour! I am a 25 year-old proud HOKIE/Virginia Tech alum originally from Midlothian, Virginia. I currently reside in Epagny, France where I am working as an Au Pair for three adorable children. Before this, I was living in New York where I started this blog as a creative outlet, as well as a way to record all of my experiences.
I have spent the past three years working in higher education as an admissions counselor. This summer I decided it was time to start crossing some things off my bucket list, and here I am! I love writing, photography, crafts, music, and anything French. I also love to travel, and hope that this adventure is just the beginning of many more to come.
My outlook on life can be summed up in the following quote:
“For what it’s worth: It’s never too late, or in my case too early to be whatever you want to be. There’s no time limit, stop whenever you want. You can change or stay the same, there are no rules to this thing. We can make the best or the worst of it. I hope you make the best of it. And I hope you see things that startle you. I hope you feel things you have never felt before. I hope you meet people with a different point of view. I hope you live a life you are proud of. If you find that you are not, I hope you have the strength to start all over again.”
-F. Scott Fitzgerald
